What is PhotoPaigaam?
Photo is how I choose to see what catches my eye.
Paigaam is where it takes my mind.
PhotoPaigaam is where the two meet.
I’ve always liked the idea that a photograph can hold more than what you see in the frame.
A street you almost walked past.
A face you’ll probably never see again.
A sunset that lasted five minutes.
A completely ordinary day that somehow became a memory.
But the photograph is only half of it.
The other half is what that moment made me feel, think, remember, question, or imagine.
That’s the paigaam.
Not necessarily what the photograph means. Just what it meant to me.
Sometimes, a photograph will make me think. Sometimes, it begins with something I read — a line I underlined, an idea I carried with me long after closing a book. And sometimes, this is simply what I saw — and this is where my mind went.
The starting point may change. The curiosity doesn’t.
Why Orange & Blue?
Orange is the photo. 📸
It’s the color of light, warmth, golden hour, celebrations and those fleeting moments you reach for your camera to keep.
Blue is the paigaam. 💙
It’s the color of ink — of writing something down, putting a thought into words and sending it to someone.
So, in PhotoPaigaam:
Orange captures the moment.
Blue carries the message.
And that little heart making its way toward the paper plane?
That’s the rest of the story:
A moment → a feeling → a paigaam → sent. 💌
So, what will I find here?
Photos. Stories. Observations. Reflections. Things I’ve read, things I’ve noticed, and things I probably thought about for longer than necessary.
Some begin through my lens. Others take me beyond the pages.
What I see might not be what you see — and I hope it isn’t.
What I take away from a book might not be what stays with you either.
Because the frame stays the same, the words on the page stay the same, but the paigaam changes with the person receiving it.
Prefer pictures without paragraphs? Stick around, the paigaam might just win you over. 📸💌
